(4) Alabama Crimson Tide at (1) Michigan Wolverines: Alabama has won 11 in row and counting since the week two loss to the Texas Longhorns. I’ll say this. If Jalen Milroe was consistent from the jump like he’s been the remainder of the regular season, h’ed get the invite to New York City for the Heisman Trophy. I’m so proud of how this kid has responded to adversity and how he’s led this Crimson Tide team to where they are now. This might be Nick Saban’s best coaching job yet. Michigan on the other side has been excellent this year in each phase of the game. They run the ball, have weapons in the receiving game and defensively, they can punch you in the mouth. Two of the best coaches in the country are featured in this one and it’s a battle of blue bloods in Pasadena, California. This will be fun to watch and break down.
(3) Texas Longhorns at (2) Washington Huskies: Hook em! The Texas Longhorns are conference champions for the first time since 2009 and when that last happened, they made it to the National Championship. Quinn Ewers is such a difference maker for this football team and when he’s healthy and on the field, they’re a threat. This will be the Longhorns first time in the College Football Playoff. Say what you want about the Washington Huskies, but they are undefeated and are also a conference champion. Everything that’s been thrown in the path, they’ve found a way to overcome it and move forward. This game will feature two Quarterbacks in Quinn Ewers and Michael Penix Jr who can each spin the football and two of the best Wide Receivers in college football in Rome Odunze and Xavier Worthy. This could be a shootout in New Orleans.
I can’t wait to break these games down on here and on the radio! I’ll see you then!
