Week Ten Power Rankings (NFL)

1. Kansas City Chiefs: Remember when everyone was asking when will the Chiefs lock in? Well, you’re seeing it now. Of course, Patrick is one of my three favorites to win league MVP. Anything can happen. They got a challenge from the Carolina Panthers last weekend. Still, the quarterback threw for 372 yards passing with four touchdowns. This is the best team in football in my humble opinion.

2. Pittsburgh Steelers: They’re the luckiest undefeated team I’ve ever seen. I’m just being honest with you. They almost dropped the ball in Nashville against the Titans but found a way to escape. Even against the Baltimore Ravens, they had to climb back into the game for the win. Last week against the Cowboys, they played down to their competition a little too much for my liking. However, they’re 8-0 for the first time ever.

3. New Orleans Saints: Sunday night in Tampa Bay was the most complete effort I’ve seen from them all year long. Michael Thomas returned which helped open up the field. The offensive line was strong, Brees was efficient and the defense punished Tom Brady all game long. When they play like this, there’s not a team that can beat them. I left week nine really impressed with them after that performance.

4. Buffalo Bills: Talk about making a statement, that’s exactly what happened when they played Seattle last week. Josh Allen outdueled Russell Wilson and the Buffalo defense made life difficult for the MVP frontrunner. The Bills are 7-2 and atop the AFC East. It’s been a special year for them. They’ll face another tough test in Arizona today against the Cardinals.

5. Baltimore Ravens: It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish. Things weren’t the greatest for them in the first half, but in the second half, they opened up their playbook. Their defense handled business in the second half and held Philip Rivers and the Colts in check en route to a 24-10 victory in week nine. It’s onto Foxborough tonight for a battle with the Patriots.
