2024 Recap: It was the second year under Head Coach, Brian Newberry and the Navy Midshipmen finished with a 10-3 record and had victories over Army and Air Force to claim the Commander-in-Chief’s trophy. Navy also capped off their year with a victory over the Oklahoma Sooners in the Armed Forces Bowl which was their first postseason win since 2019. They have a lot to be proud of in 2024 if you ask me and they will be a tough out once again in 2025. Quarterback Blake Horvath was the catalyst of a rushing attack that averaged 103 yards per game.

Key Departures: S Rayuan Lane III, S Mbiti Williams, OL Jacob Busic.

2025 Prediction: They have a veteran roster and favorable schedule and the only thing that will stop them is them. Navy has what it takes not only to finish atop the AAC, but win it and I like them to take another step under Brian Newberry. They must look to replace three starters from last season on the Offensive Line, but they bring back many of their skill players from a year ago such as Eli Heidenreich. On the other side of the ball, Landon Robinson is back in the middle of that Navy defense they allowed 22 points a game in 2024. A 10-3 record seems possible once again.
