2024 Recap: They lost two tough games last year with one in Eugene against the Oregon Ducks and at the end of the year, they fell to Michigan for the fourth consecutive season. I remember the fire Ryan Day chants and how he deserved his pink slip, but this is exactly why you don’t listen to the outside noise and they played their best football when it mattered which was playoff time. They got their revenge against Oregon at the Rose Bowl, got by the Texas Longhorns and defeated the Notre Dame Fighting Irish for their first title in a decade. I wonder if some still want Ryan fired and I remember saying the Michigan loss was the best thing to happen to them because they went on a run after that and look where it took them.

Key Departures: QB Will Howard, RB Quinshon Judkins, RB TreVeyon Henderson, WR Emeka Egbuka, OT Donovan Jackson, EDGE Jack Sawyer & J.T. Tuimoloau.

2025 Prediction: I feel the only team to get in their way is themselves which means injuries are piling up, or, they aren’t playing up to their caliber. Ryan will have his men ready to play and I like the Buckeyes to get back to the top of the conference this year. Oregon will be without a few key players from last year and Michigan is still somewhat of a question mark. The offense returns Jeremiah Smith and I think he’ll be even scarier this year and the defense returns Caleb Downs who was a key piece for them during the title run in 2024. I predicted the Buckeyes will win ten games and will lean on the running game to help the new Quarterback. They open up their season with a huge showdown against the Texas Longhorns in week one.
